But we mucked it up and ended up in a town that advertísed an albergue which it didn't have! In my defense I was following a 73 year old Austrian who later claimed he didn't see the town we were aiming for! I did notice it, but thought there'd been a change of plan as we passed it by on the trail. However, it was still early, so we carried on. And ended up here at Granja de Moreruela - 43km later! I must be getting fitter!
Montamarta
The walk was great - big, wide blue skies, over a high rolling plain, patchworked by bright yellow rapeseed plantings alternating with deep green wheat fields. And in the folds of the hills the occasional farm building.

In the distance I could see a mountain capped with snow - the entrance to Galicia, where I'll be soon. It was a magical day's walk. And I'm buggered so off to sleep!
